Poor, poor little Robins. He could hardly talk, bless him! Still dragged himself in thought didn't he? John had tonsillitis this week so Elis did the lion's share of the talking. There was still plenty to laugh about though. Not least how Elis is getting on with his daughter's potty training (spoiler: It's not going well). There was also a smashing Made Up Game from listener Matt and it was right up the lads' street. All this plus the usual Humblebrags, a Shame Well read by Elis and a couple of lovely emails.

You can't have escaped that tirade of press coverage... It's the least that can be expected when a man like Robins is stranded stateside and unable to broadcast. Elis soldiered boldly on though, with a stiff upper lip and a determined look in his eye. That was not before enlisting the help of esteemed friend of the show, Josh Widdicombe! Robins still managed to put his two cents in though and (once he was out of bed) joined in the fun from across the pond. A brilliant show with all the Humblebrags, shame and badinage that you'd expect.

You shouldn't keep nostalgic memories in a bin bag. Elis James is full of these wisdoms. Considering the long stint on drive this week, the lads put in a quallo shift - leaving nothing unsaid: Including 'I love you.' Twice. There was a brilliant Made Up Game, a lovely couple of emails and an unfortunate festival-based shame. There was a paper review too, but John was right to question whether or not it was strictly light-hearted.

Do you know somebody who doesn't like beans? Poor wretches. A lovely time was had on this weeks show with a serious stack of emails. In traditional Elis James style, he let his birthday pass with almost no fuss whatsoever, but Robins was on hand with a BIG gift to mark the occasion. As well as all this there were the customary Humblebrags, a top shelf Shame Well, a lovely light-hearted paper review and a made up game.

Robins had a bit of a night of it last night. Classic Robins. That didn't stop a complete Hammer show from taking shape though. Elis gave yet more tasty insight into the British film industry and the Queen questions came thick and fast in preparation for John's appearance on Celebrity Mastermind. There were some quallo emails this week too, as well as the usual Humblebrags, Shame Well and a Mod or Rocker Made Up Game!

An absolute vintage James & Robins podcast today: There was plenty of shame, a bit of character assassination and all the usual fun too. Emails, a brilliant Made Up Game and so many Humblebrags that it had to be a two-parter! Disgusting.

If you're going to have a replacement, you may as well have a replacement who's as easy on the eye as Ed Gamble. Have you seen that jaw!? Elis was away on Welsh stand up duties and Ed filled in brilliantly. It was a 'bum' heavy show, but that's just the way it goes sometimes. There was a Humblebrag update (thought to be a first for the medium), a reminiscent Made Up Game, a cracking (bum pun) Paper Review and plenty of quallo badinage.
