Episode 21
Life Hacks, Transport Without Curves and Producer Dave Splinched
Show broadcast on 6 July 2014
No Producer Dave this week as he's off at a festival large-ing it, but Elis and John, the self-appointed "Un-Produceables", haven't let that stop them. This week they're attempting to talk about Life Hacks, but are distracted by the concept of transportation without curves. Plus there's Textual Healing, an unprepared Winner Plays On, and John's short essay on his 5 favourite albums.
John's introduction of Elis
"To my left is Llechwedd Slate Caverns' volunteer of the year 2009-10 inclusive."
Conversations and riffs
Prod D is away at a festival in Portugal - cue riff of what that would be like. Producer Neil is covering and the guys are testing his mettle by being deliberately unproduceable.
Text-in topic
Listeners text and tweet during the show on this week's topic.
Handy life hacks from listeners. Unofficial texter - are there any methods of transports that don't need wheels, circles or curves?
Textual Healing
A listener calls the show with a problem.
Gareth in London has moved house and is looking for ways to ingratiate himself with his new neighbours.
Sacred Cow
Should this celebrated band / artist go into the paddock of sacred cows or be doomed to the abattoir?
Red Hot Chilli Peppers (abattoir)
Winner Plays On
Elis and John face off in the weekly quiz on topics of their choice.
Carmarthen (Elis) v Silence of the Lambs (John). John had prepared the wrong subject for Elis so has to make up questions about Carmarthen on the spot. John wins 4-2.
