John's introduction of Elis
"Elis' intro of John: [after long intro]... "It is great pleasure that I can announce that the digital DJ to my right was last week given the 2017 Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show. In unprecedented circumstances he was asked to share the award with Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby [John: We both won it], a decision which John told me in confidence he is broadly fine with. "
Now John has something he can put on his Double Billy bookshelf (an award) now that all his ex-girlfriend's books have gone. "

John's Shame Well

As a teenager, having your new girlfriend's parents find your poorly disposed of used prophylactics and throwing you out of their house. Years later, you stumble across the parents again, running a random B&B you happen to have booked into with your current partner. You were only there because it was an accidental find on a much earlier trip as a child and you happened to be passing through again.
